S.D. Katz is a director/writer/producer splitting his time between Los Angeles, Beijing and New York City. Besides writing the best-selling books, SHOT BY SHOT and CINEMATIC MOTION, Steve created the first fully digital pre-vis for CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER and has lectured on the subject around the world. Steve began his study of shot and scene design in his teens and remains an enthusiastic fan of production designers, art directors, and storyboard artists.
