ALFRED HITCHCOCK GALLERY

Alfred Hitchcock (1899 – 1980) is the director most associated with storyboards as a way of achieving a visual style.  Many of the storyboards for his movies from the mid 40s to his final film, are available in fragmentary form, but many more are lost. The boards that appeared in columns on a page are shown here on a horizontal slide gallery. In most cases this allows the viewer to be the edtior and advance through the individual frames. Lastly, it's not always clear who drew the boards, but credit is given whenever possible.
