Sherman Labby (1929 - 1998) A native of Los Angeles, Labby began his art career in magazine Illustration and after many years moved to storyboarding for animation studios Filmation, Hanna-Barbera, and Marvel. By the late 1970s, he was storyboarding for major live action movies including Invasion of the Body Snatchers, The Wanderers, The Incredible Shrinking Woman, Blade Runner, The War of the Roses, Broadcast News, The Witches of Eastwick, and many others.
